Index to Subject or Location in Capers

Have you wanted to find articles on a particular subject or a location in Family History Capers? Here is a file to help you do that—the Capers Combination Subject Index. The index is an Excel file saved as a PDF. It includes title, author, volume, issue, page, category, and location. Data are sorted by category.
 
  • Open the file and search for a location or keyword using one of the following methods:
    • Find in Page (option in your browser)
    • Control+F (Ctrl+F) function (Windows)
    • Command+F (Cmd+F) function (Mac)
  • When you find something interesting, write down the volume, issue, and page.
  • GSWC members may locate the issue in Capers Archive, open the file, and scroll to the page.
  • Non-GSWC members may choose to order photocopies of individual articles from Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center (up to six per order form) or search for a print copy of Capers in a library, as explained below.
